WP Complete Quick Start Guide
WPComplete makes it easy to add progress tracking to WordPress content such as lessons, pages, and posts. This quick start guide walks through the essential steps for getting WPComplete up and running, whether using the free or Pro version.
1. Install & Activate
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for WPComplete (Free version) or upload the Pro ZIP file from your account.
- Click Install and then Activate.
2. Configure Basic Settings (Pro)
- Go to Settings > WPComplete > General.
- Select which content types (posts, pages, or custom post types) can be marked as completable.
3. Make Content Completable
- Edit the post, page, or lesson you want to make completable.
- Enable “Yes, I want this page to be completable”.
4. Verify it’s Working
- Open one of your completable posts, pages, or custom post types on the front end.
- You should see the Mark Complete button.
5. Next Steps
- Add navigation ([wpc_previous_page] / [wpc_next_page]) or progress tracking shortcodes (Pro).
- Customize button text and colors under WPComplete > Buttons (Pro).
